Leanne and Wes - Edinburgh Capital Hotel

Okay, I admit it, I’ve fallen a bit behind with the Blog after only one entry so I’m going to work a little bit harder to try and catch up with myself now that I have a minute to spare.

Next wedding in my diary was Leanne and Wes at the Edinburgh Capital Hotel perched on the side of Corstorphine hill, they do a fantastic steak pie so I’m told.

Photobombing courtesy of Spike from 80’s metal band ‘The Quireboys’ who had been playing in town the night before and were on a day off, and some random stranger who was wandering up the path as we were taking the group shots.

Something of a Hearts FC theme to the day’s proceedings. Table names after players, the bride wore a Hearts tartan garter and the piper played out to their theme song. Of course those of you who know me well realise that I am a leading authority on football and thus none of this was lost on me!!

Great day, fine weather and hilarious speeches. I’m sure the evening was every bit as fun as the day itself!
